Woah, it's been ages since I last updated this place. It's getting alittle dusty here. So beware readers, this is an ultra long entry. =)

So let's see, I got back from Thailand on the 11th and been rather sick since then. The trip was alright. I must say, Bankok is a place to go when you have money, not when you're on budget. Why? because the things there are dirt cheap. I mean like when I bought booze and Macs for my friends, it costs less than 30SGD. And when I said booze, i meant like about 10 bottles of drinks. Okay, here goes my ranting.

Day 1:
Got up really early and headed to the budget terminal to catch our flight. The sky was still dark when we boarded the plane.

Reached Bankok at about 9am thailand time, checked into our hotel, Indra Regent, which is located in the city. Here's our lobby.

Chucked our luggage into the rooms and headed out for breakfast at one of the roadside stalls. It feels like the 60s man. You can see rats running here and there, you know what I mean. Didn't really take much pictures on the first day because we spent the day like mostly on running around to shop. First stop was the Chatuchak Weekend Market, it's like a huge pasar malam which sells anything under the sun including pets. According to my source, the market covers an area of 70 rai (35 acres), contains more than 15 000 shops and stalls. Half-way through the market, the pampered Singaporeans I was with was complaining of the heat and stuff, so we head to the nearest mall, JJ Mall. Had our lunch there and I almost puked because the ah gua, or "lady boy" known by the Thais, serving us was damn freaking disgusting. I mean he, no she, no it was dress up like a female, but it has moustache growing above its lips. I mean like if you wanna be like a girl, SHAVE.

After lunch, we headed to our next destination, MBK (Mah Boon Krong) Center. It's basically like Singapore's Tampines Mall, but about twice the size. Most of us generally went on a shopping spree there. Had KFC for dinner before taking a Tuk-Tuk back to our hotel. Man, the ride was exhilarating. It took us in a small lane and headed in between traffic. It was like a mini roller-coaster ride. Rested in our hotel for awhile before heading out near by for our relaxation session - traditional massage. Jing Jing was basically screaming for the first 15mins? LOL. Headed back to our rooms to sleep after that.

Day 2:
Woke up early for a swim with Ryan before breakfast. Headed back to our rooms to rest after our heavy breakfast while waiting for baby to arrive. She finally arrived at 11am with her mum and brought us to a new shopping mall near our hotel, Platinum Mall. It's like Bugis Street, except air-conditioned and has five levels. The top-most level being the food court. And mind you, every level is the size of Bugis Street. Which makes it like huge. It was heaven for the ladies.

I parted ways with the rest half-way and joined baby for the rest of the day. Shopped for almost the entire day. Dinner was at Tawandang German Brewy.

They had live acrobats performing while you eat.

The day ended fast and I headed back to the hotel. The next day, we'll be heading for Pattaya. =)

Day 3:
Had breakfast, then packed our luggages and rested till it was time for us to leave. Checked out of the hotel and waited for the cab to bring us to Pattaya. And we had a huge mix up there becase we went into the wrong cab! OMG! It was like scary. Because among us, only david understands and speaks Thai. But somehow, we still got into a this mess. Luckily for us, we were able to get out of the cab and took our stuff before boarding the correct one. LOL. The journey took about 2 hours. Upon reaching there, we found a hotel, or a service apartment to be more exact, to stay. Had some trouble, but I'm kinda feeling lazy to type more already.

So after placing our stuff in our rooms, we headed our to rent motorcycles. It was the best transport anyone could get when you're in Pattaya, unless it rains (which it did on our second day there). Jing Jing as usual, was screaming when she sat on Ryan's bike. LOL.

So we just rode around trying to get familiar with the place. Then after asking around, we rode to the place to catch the "lady boy" show.

And damn, some of them are like damn pretty lah! Here are some pictures of them.

After the show, we collected our bikes and headed for supper. After supper, we rode all the way from Central Pattaya to Jomtien Beach, which was damn far from our apartments. On the way back, I got molested by a "lady boy", damn bad luck. I was on my bike at the traffic light, and this "lady boy" on another bike touched my butt! Damn it! After that, we headed back to our rooms to rest as we expect to have more fun the next day.

Day 4:
It rained! Oh man. Our expected plan was ruined. However, we exchanged one of the bikes for a car and drove out of Pattaya to the Tiger Zoo. I tell you, the roads in Thailand are crap. The signs are crap. I mean like, there's a sign says "No-U-Turn", but there's a lane for you to do that. I mean like what the hell. So it took us about 2 hours to reach our desired destination after stopping one million times to ask the locals how to go there by car. On the way there, we saw a wreck of a bus crashing into a jeep i suppose. Damn sad.

So while we were at the zoo, we watched elephant show, crocodile show and a mini circus which feature pigs and tigers performing.

We then went on to watch pigs racing.

And guess what, this.

Damn cute right? haha.

After the zoo, we headed to the shooting range. It was kinda like a waste of 700baht for shooting five minutes. But heck, I got to hold a real gun! The funny thing is, when I posed for the last picture, I accidentally pointed the gun at the trainer and he was like freaked out. He quickly shifted my hand towards the target. LOL.

After that, we head back to the hotel for some rest before going for foot massage. It felt damn good. But it's a pity, our holiday trip was coming to an end, because the next day, we had to go home.

Day 5:
Woke up early, returned our vehicles and head back to our hotel to have our breakfast before going to the airport. On the way to the airport, we stopped somewhere to buy snacks back to Singapore.

So that was basically what I did in Thailand. I must say, if you're heading to Bangkok, you must make sure that you ain't on a budget, because it's like a shopping heaven. However for Pattaya, guys shouldn't bring your girlfriends there, because it's like the Geylang of Singapore, except that it is bigger in scale. LOL. So there's the a final picture of us in Thailand. Enjoy! =)
